A skimmer leak doesn't need a renovation quote. A dead pump doesn't need a remodel consultation. Our repair service exists to fix the thing that's broken — diagnosed properly, priced as a repair, done.
The diagnosis is the skill. Water loss can be evaporation, a fitting, a light conduit or a structural crack — each with a very different price tag. We test before we quote, so you're paying to fix the actual problem, not the scariest possibility.

Do you charge for diagnosis?
Basic assessment comes with the visit; involved leak detection (pressure testing multiple lines) is quoted as its own line item before we start — and credited toward the repair if you proceed with us.
My pool is losing water. How do I know if it's a leak?
The bucket test: set a bucket of water on a step, mark both levels, wait 24 hours with equipment off. If the pool drops noticeably more than the bucket, it's a leak, not evaporation — time to call.
Repair or replace a failing pump?
If a repair costs more than about a third of a new variable-speed pump, replacement usually wins — the energy savings alone often pay the difference within a couple of seasons. We show both numbers.
How fast can you come out?
Most repair visits happen within days. East County Bay Area calls are local to our Brentwood base; Sacramento-region calls dispatch from home turf.
